INDIA arrives at the Glendale Humane Society after being found wandering on a Los Angeles freeway.

She is tiny little dog, only skin & bones, and is covered in shaggy, dirty fur that makes it difficult to tell which end is which.

INDIA is visited by a mobile pet groomer who donates her time to the Glendale Humane Society, a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter in the Los Angeles area.

Although India's scared at first, she needs the cleanup: she was found wandering on a freeway. No one knows how long she's been living on the streets - and she's something of a mess.

Now India needs to look her very best to let potential adoptive families see her in the best possible light.

INDIA finishes her extreme mutt makeover and the results are quite surprising. This tiny little dog, found wandering on a freeway, had been living on the streets and was a complete mess.

India looks like a completely different dog without all of her matted, tangled, filthy fur. She's completely adorable!

But what will the future hold for India? How will she get along with the other dogs at the Glendale Humane Society? And will she be able to find a new home and a family to love her?
